Professional focus:

Since many years my professionel focus is on supply chain and SAP, i.e. structuring processes and realizing them in SAP and in the organization.

Herefore I am making use of all the possibilities SAP is offering, as well as doing the necessary trainings in German, English and Spanish.

SAP is the inventor of the standard software. Before, all the ERP solutions were individually programmed. The success of SAP was only possible because the system offers possibilities to adapt the software to all kinds of business sectors.

Besides customizing there is a huge variety of

  • function modules
  • business application programming interfaces (Bapi)
  • classes and methodes
  • enhancement points

enabling the clients to adapt the system to their specific processes without really leaving the standard.

Over the years I have developed a lot of creative solutions to facilitate the daily work of the users and to realize innovations for our business, like:

  • Integration of the document management system (DMS) into the generic object services (GOS) to make possible access to all object related documents via GOS
  • Tools to faciliate project budgeting and capacity planning
  • Processes for maintenance of remaining costs and hours with automatic adjustment of the forecast
  • Automatic cost settlement when confirming production orders
  • Invoice posting via EDI
  • Integration of Excel based tools into SAP via remote function calls
  • Tools to adjust the BOM for MRP according to the purchasing strategy for the individual projects
  • Integration of ECTR into the SAP processes with special focus on import-on-demand from the old system and making best use of the new possibilites in all process steps
